My Backpacking Gear

I love to get out in nature be it blue skies or imminent rain. The farther I can get away from roads, computers, and people the better. I love hot water and electricity and roof over my head, but find the best way to get a perspective on the things I take for granted is to do without them. I find few things as satisfying as setting up camp with the gear that is essential to making any outdoor excursion safe, semi comfortable and fun. Below is my list of current gear along with base weight.
